Adema Ribic
Assistant Professor of Psychology
As a molecular biologist turned neuroscientist, I aim to understand which brain areas make us behave in a certain way and how. As an academic and a perpetual student of science in general, I aim to understand the dynamics of social relationship in science, and how they affect our perception of which discoveries matter (and which don't). As a teacher, I aim to get my students equipped to ask and answer their own scientific questions. In my classroom, students are guided through the material, not lectured, and they lead the class through discussions, debates, and a-ha moments. Through my role as an educator, I strive to help my students find their voices-and use them.
