From my first day of college I knew this was the place I belonged. Like every student, I had ups and downs, but there was something about living and learning alongside other students and faculty that was so exciting! This passion led me to study colleges and universities, and, more importantly, college students. My interest in the lives of undergraduates extends to my research interests in social identity development and access and support for first-generation students and students from lower SES backgrounds. In all my work, I've maintained a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion within higher education. As a faculty member and Principal of Hereford Residential College I value personal connections with students as they navigate their academic and personal paths.
