I am a musician and composer. I use computers as instruments and compositional companions. I develop innovative programming tools and generative algorithms focusing on generative principles. I am interested in creating audiovisuals. I spend a lot of time programming visuals that accompany my music. I believe visual music is something not yet explored. With new tools and powerful computers we can create a different musical experience using immersive multimedia. I compose my audiovisuals as synesthetic works, conceived as neither just music nor just image, but as a hybrid, cross-modal medium. I am a committed and experienced educator. I believe in mixing disciplines and I have a very hands-on approach: in my classes we learn by doing, using theory as a guide to creativity.
